School Reviews

My great great uncle was Alonso S. Perales. I have read about his accomplishments. I would be honored to contribute to the school since it is named after my great great uncle. One way to do this would be to have a NASA representative to show students about math and science. My husband works for NASA and can give a speech on the subject or/and NASA or engineering. It would be memorable to end the visit with a tour of the school especially any areas where Mr. Perales is noted. I live in Katy, TX but can drive to school. My contact number is 281-797-8944. Thank you, Lydia Salazar

As of 2014, nineteen states still allow corporal punishment – spanking and paddling the most common choices – in their public schools. However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color. As a result, House democrats have taken up the issue in a new bill that would ban all forms of corporal punishment nationwide.
