School Reviews

2   5/30/2015
This school has gone down hill. Kids smoking weed, teachers quitting because they don't want to have to deal with the 7th grade kids. It reminds me of a movie you would see about a run down NYC school. I plan on removing my child and placing her in a new school, if there is no room, I will homeschool. Half of the 7th grade class is already at an alternative school for 'bad kids" or in and out of juvenile. I refuse to let my child be taken down by this unparented generation of children. I don't blame the kids, I blame the parents and that school. If you have kids that go there, just ask them, they will tell you what's really going on there.

Teachers in 19 States Allowed to Physically Punish Students
As of 2014, nineteen states still allow corporal punishment – spanking and paddling the most common choices – in their public schools. However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color. As a result, House democrats have taken up the issue in a new bill that would ban all forms of corporal punishment nationwide.
