I have my third child going through Marshall at the moment. My first child graduated the International Baccalaureate Program before being accepted and graduated from the prestigious Unv. of Virginia business school - she's now making 6-figure income in Manhattan and still in her twenties. My first son graduated Marshall and after serving a few years in the Marine Corps got accepted to George Mason's Conflict Resolution Program and is now traveling the world dealing with some high-profile cases. My second son is currently attending Marshall as a gifted child, likely to go into the IB program, but with a learning disability - we have had great professional support of his efforts from Marshall teachers and staff and fully expect that he will be accepted into one of top colleges in the country. As with any school, the study body is made up of a wide array of people but we have found it rare to come across "unwelcoming or rude" ones; most are just very busy in an academically challenging environment - not sure why any parent would want it to be otherwise. In the last few years, the school has been expanded and remodeled and now offers a wide array of facilities although I never thought it was actually missing much. In a decade, I've never heard about any rats. Urban legion or a McLean or Langley prank review? Yesh.

I did not like this school and neither did my children. This school was recommended to me by a friend saying that it was one of the best schools in the area but i was disappointed. We moved form overseas and having a history of private schools we weren't expecting luxury but kindness and welcome and we got neither. The kids were unwelcoming and rude. The school is in such bad shape and unsanitary(rats),needs to fixed up!
