School Reviews

5   4/5/2014
The quality of all programs, teachers, and facilities at Lee High was very simply the best of the best. I attended Lee beginning the first year it was open. I finished the 8th grade at Capital Heights the year before Lee opened. I was in Johnny Long's initial band at Lee and earned First Chair All State Band during my second year. To say that I have great memories of my relationship with Johnny Long would be a major understatement. He was simply the best of the best. I went to Tulane University in New Orleans when I graduated from Lee. Lee High had done wonderful preparation work on me as a student and I continue to be very grateful to all the Lee teachers I was lucky enough to have. Many Thanks, H. Stovall Kendrick, III
