I think Violetville is probably one of the best schools in Baltimore City because they have plenty of structure and Order but I especially like the principal Miss Brown because I believe she genuinely cares about the students. I have two children that attend there and one that graduated last year and Miss Brown motivated him to do good in school and apply himself and now he wants to pass and graduate high school and I just think she is a great principal.

The school is a great place for student learning. There are a few issues with student altecations, but that is true of all schools. I have enjoyed working with the staff and the administration. My child has been able to be very successful there. Way to go Violetville. Keep up the good work!

As of 2014, nineteen states still allow corporal punishment – spanking and paddling the most common choices – in their public schools. However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color.
